Emma Raducanu, 21, is ready to 'put it on the line' this Wednesday against Belgium's Elise Mertens in the second round of Wimbledon.
She opted out of the French Open to focus on the British grass season, leading to a semi-final at the Nottingham Open and a quarter-final at Eastbourne.
Initially set to play Ekaterina Alexandrova, Raducanu instead defeated Renata Zarazua 7-6 (7-0) 6-3 on Centre Court to advance.
Despite her US Open win in 2021, Raducanu has not gone past the second round in six Grand Slams.
Battling past wrist and ankle injuries, she aims to give her all on the court.
Other British contenders Lily Miyazaki and Sonay Kartal also play Wednesday, along with Daniil Medvedev, Naomi Osaka, Jannik Sinner, Coco Gauff, and Carlos Alcaraz.
