Milan Fashion Week Fall 2020: See All the Celebrities Attending Shows and Events

The stars have aligned to celebrate some of the best names in Italian fashion (and hopefully enjoy some pasta, too).

Ciao! After a busy week in New York and a whirlwind journey through London, Milan Fashion Week Fall 2020 has begun, with Italian favorites including Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, and No.21 showing their latest wares on the first day. And while Milan is somewhat notorious for being a week of dreamy pizza and pasta dishes for those in attendance, it's also a truly fruitful time for anyone who enjoys people-watching, as the stars turn out in droves to catch shows from brands like Prada, Fendi, Moschino, and Versace, among many others certain to mix supermodel power with confident Italian designs.

Looking to feel like you're part of the action, or trying to make sense of it all in between a packed schedule? Consider this your cheat sheet to all the most exciting celebrities attending shows and events at Milan Fashion Week Fall 2020. From the star-studded Gucci audience to all the hottest parties (we sincerely hope that Gigi Hadid shares some film photography of Donatella's post-Versace celebration like last season), check back here over the next five days to see all the ways fashion and pop culture are bound to align.

Gucci Fall 2020

Alessandro Michele is basically a celebrity in his own right. He's earned a cult following through his work at Gucci thanks to his eclectic creativity, exciting drops, and expert taste in stars to be the face of his brand (hello, Harry Styles). So of course, when it came time to present his Fall 2020 collection (by having models get dressed on the runway, no less), the crowd was as expertly curated as the collection. While Styles wasn't there (instead, he served a series of memorable looks at the Brit Awards the night before), high-profile attendees included Amandla Stenberg, Yara Shahidi, Florence Welch, Dakota Johnson, Lou Doillon, and Christine and the Queens, among others. Michele called the show an unrepeatable ritual, and it definitely lived up to its name in more ways than one.

Fendi Fall 2020

Fendi always attracts a star-studded crowd, and for good reason: the house consistently produces strong collections of pieces made to last, using luxurious materials and pops of colors to craft a truly covetable aesthetic. Interest has only gotten higher with Silvia Venturini Fendi at the helm, as the world watches to see how she'll meld Karl Lagerfeld's legacy with her own aesthetic. Just two weeks after a New York Fashion Week party that the likes of Zendaya, Katherine Langford, and Miles Teller attended, the Fall 2020 show in Milan attracted a slew of fashion insiders, including Lucy Hale, Tommy Dorfman, Olivia Palermo, and Amina Muaddi.

Bulgari Fall 2020 Accessories Launch Party

2020 is an exciting year so far for Bulgari, which has continued its modern approach to fine jewelry including through the B.zero1 Rock collection, which the brand celebrated back at New York Fashion Week. The music-filled party (Ciara, Diplo, and a few other exciting talents performed) attracted new campaign stars Lily Aldridge, Zendaya, and Naomi Scott, in addition to a slew of other celebrity guests. Just two weeks later, Bulgari launched its Fall 2020 accessories collection, which features plenty of iconic Serpenti pieces among several other styles in a line that celebrates playful glamour with a revolutionary flair. Just as in New York, the house brought guests an evening of entertainment, this time with a live performance by model and singer Faith Lynch and a captivating DJ set by Josephine De La Baume. With the incorporation of young Italian artist Andrea Crespi's snake pattern, the showroom welcomed a high-profile crowd that included Naomi Ackie, Madeline Brewer, Giorgia Tordini & Gilda Ambrosio, Lady Kitty Spencer, Gala Gonzalez, Anna Cleveland, and Jon Kortajarena.

Versace Fall 2020

Donatella Versace produced one of the most fascinating shows of Milan Fashion Week by showing her first co-ed collection against a screen of optical illusions. Mixing eclectic nostalgia with the brand's unapologetic style, Versace's Fall 2020 collection celebrated the power in freedom of expression and self-confidence, using animal print, little black dresses, and loud going-out ensembles to craft something for every life of the party. The supermodel-studded show (think Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Irina Shayk) attracted an equally elite audience, which included the likes of Barbara Palvin, Carolyn Murphy, Emily Ratajkowski, Jon Kortajarena, Romelu Lukaku, and Ami & Aya Suzuki.

Bottega Veneta Fall 2020

The brand behind the current it bag, Bottega Veneta Fall 2020 established a strong potential for staying relevant past the hype. With a focus on self-expression and silhouette, Daniel Lee's timeless designs held a sense of eccentricity in their fringe detailing, sparkling fabrics, and pops of bold shades like lime green and hot pink. Just as trailblazing as the collection itself, the crowd attending the show included Dev Hynes, Sigourney Weaver, Tessa Thompson, Ama Lou, Francesca Hayward, and Vanessa Beecroft.

Prada Fall 2020

This season, Miuccia Prada was reimagining the power in femininity, using fashion as a source of power and pleasure. The result was a reimagined collection of tailoring that made good use of enticing cuts, fringe, and mini bags. Just three days later, we learned that Miuccia will soon be melding her creative concepts with those of Raf Simons, who will be Prada's co-creative director starting this April. So as the historic new collaboration begins, hopefully exciting guests like TikTok star Charli D'Amelio, YouTube's Derek Blasberg, Rachel Brosnahan, Euphoria's Sydney Sweeney, Saweetie, Sinead Burke, and Lisa from Blackpink will return for the Spring 2021 show in September.
