House of Lords Begins Scrutiny of Bill to Lower UK Voting Age to 16

Peers have begun reviewing legislation that would extend voting rights to 16- and 17-year-olds, introduce automatic voter registration and allow bank cards to be used as photographic identification at polling stations.
