Irina Shayk is the star of Zimmermann's Resort Swim 21 campaign

Australian icons Zimmermann have released their Resort Swimwear 21 collection campaign starring super model Irina Shayk.

Paradise wonder. Australian icons Zimmermann have released their Resort Swimwear 21 collection campaign starring super model Irina Shayk.

In a bid to make us all tremble with travel jealousy, the incredible campaign series was shot in La Tonnara di Scopello in Italy, off incredible vast coastlines, clear turquoise waters and rocky cliff edges. The images however do conjure a beautiful optimism and excitement for the Australian summer ahead (glass half full).

The Resort Swim 21 collection features an array of delightful and uplifting designs for those long warm afternoons in the sun. Key highlight pieces include a bright floral yellow matching crop top and flare pants set, palm tree print 70s styling jumpsuit, a one-piece white swimsuit with high cut finish, graphic striped long-sleeve day dress, a crafty-cut paisley print multi-coloured swimsuit, a black and red tie-dye print matching playsuit and bikini and beautiful accessories from sandals, sunglasses and hats to complete. Fresh, light and post salt water swim ready.

The campaign stills lensed by photographer Benny Horne and styled by Romy Frydman showcase the ultimate in luxurious holiday dressing. Irina Shayk wanders through picturesque scenarios, from vintage pink villas laced with cobblestones and Juliet balconies, to the dreamy water’s edge ready to make a splash.

The nostalgic film directed by Tom Sandford walks us through Irina Shayk’s quintessentially Italian coastline day. From morning to afternoon, she moves from her room, to exploring, to the beach and even steps into a vintage car, all the while wearing key Zimmerman Resort 21 collection pieces. With sweet music notes of an acoustic guitar and piano, it’s enough to drift you off to a blissful daydream, ready for the days when the world opens up once again.

Time to pack your bags for the sun and sea (and venture no further than our backyards). Step inside the magic and watch the full campaign film below.

The Zimmermann Resort Swim 21 collection is available to purchase via zimmermannwear.com and boutique stores.
