UK House of Commons Rejects Assisted Dying Bill for England and Wales

British lawmakers rejected the Terminally Ill Adults End of Life Bill by 286 votes to 270, ending the latest attempt to legalise assisted dying for terminally ill people and leaving the existing prohibition unchanged.
