Fern Britton breaks social media silence after Phillip Schofield speaks out.
Fern Britton, a former co-host of the popular morning show "This Morning," has shared her thoughts on the recent interviews of her former colleague Phillip Schofield.

Schofield, who resigned from "This Morning" after admitting to an extramarital affair, spoke publicly for the first time since his resignation, revealing his struggles with mental health and the fear of being "spat at" by the public.

But despite the significant reaction to Schofield's interviews, Britton chose to ignore the situation completely and instead shared her thoughts on the recent finale of the show "Ted Lasso." She expressed her joy and emotions, writing, "Just watched the final Ted Lasso with cuppa in bed.

Tears rolling down my face but such a smile in my heart.

What a show what a cast what a story." In the past, there have been hints of a fallout between Schofield and his former co-host Holly Willoughby, with Britton seemingly taking a dig at the situation when she posted about catching up with Eamonn Holmes, who previously co-hosted "This Morning" on Fridays.

Britton mentioned that they were "shooting the breeze," implying that there was a contrast between her and Schofield's current mental states.

Britton left "This Morning" in 2009 and has since had a falling out with Schofield.

In his 2020 memoir, Schofield revealed that Britton's exit from the show had caused a rift in their friendship, which had also "gone sour." "This Morning" airs weekdays on ITV1.
