Three additional individuals have been charged with murder following the fatal drive-by shooting of a woman outside a church in north-west London.
The incident occurred in Harlesden on the evening of December 14, resulting in the death of 44-year-old Michelle Sadio, who was among the mourners outside the River of Life Pentecostal Church.
Two men, Kenneth Amoah, 39, and Kadeem Francis, 30, were also injured, having sustained gunshot wounds to the back and foot, respectively.
The Metropolitan Police announced on Saturday that Perry Allen-Thomas, 26, Amir Salem, 18, and Shaquille Sutherland, 24, all from Wembley, north-west London, have been charged with murder and two counts of attempted murder.
Salem and Sutherland were remanded in custody following their appearance at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday, with a subsequent hearing scheduled at the Old Bailey on Tuesday.
Allen-Thomas is set to appear at Willesden Magistrates’ Court.
Another individual, Tahjin Sommersall, 18, from Feltham, west London, appeared at the Old Bailey on Wednesday.
He faces charges of murder, two counts of attempted murder, and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
In addition, three other individuals were arrested in connection with the case earlier this week and have been released on bail as inquiries continue.
The shooting took place during a wake being held for 80-year-old Dianne Boatong, who had passed away nine days prior.
Witnesses reported that a group of young people, some of whom were drinking and smoking, had gathered outside the church.
Just after 9:10 pm, a dark-coloured Kia car arrived at the scene; shots were fired into the assembled crowd before the vehicle sped away.
Children as young as five years old were reportedly present when the shooting occurred.
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Clarke remarked that the investigation is advancing swiftly and expressed gratitude for the local community's ongoing cooperation.
Clarke also highlighted the crucial role that shared CCTV footage has played in aiding the investigation.
