The outage, caused by a faulty update to CrowdStrike antivirus software, impacted Microsoft's systems, leading to canceled GP appointments and pharmacies unable to access digital prescription records.
Despite systems being mostly restored, surgeries are dealing with a backlog of appointments.
Dr. Sarah Jane Cowley and Dr. Fari Ahmad reported ongoing difficulties in accessing digital systems, while Asif Akram noted concerns about further cancellations if systems are not fully operational.
The outage also affected platforms like EMIS, used for managing patient records and prescriptions.
Additionally, over 70 flights were canceled as a result of the disruption, with aviation and other sectors still experiencing some residual issues.
