London Office Limited Public Traffic
The British Virgin Islands London Office is appealing for limited public traffic due to the uptick in spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the United Kingdom (UK) and wider Europe.
Based on the World Health Organization’s declaration that the spread of COVID-19 is a public health emergency of international concern, the UK Chief Medical Officers have raised the risk to the UK from low to moderate.
"In the interest of public health, it is important that public traffic in and out of the office is limited until the Public Health England threat level is reduced. The BVI London Office remains committed to supporting BVI interests and the welfare of BVI nationals in the UK," a Government statement indicated.
Acting Director of BVI London Office, Tracy Bradshaw said, “I encourage all BVIslanders and Belongers visiting, residing or studying in the UK to monitor and adhere to the advice of Public Health England and National Health Service (NHS) England."

The Acting Director added, “If persons believe they have symptoms of the virus or have been exposed to it, they are instructed NOT to visit the GP, pharmacy or hospital but to contact the NHS by dialing 111 and following advice on the next steps.”
