University of Kentucky Enables Online Access to 2025 W-2 Forms for Employees
Staff and faculty who elected electronic delivery can now view and download their year-end wage and tax statements through the university’s payroll portal
Employees of the University of Kentucky who opted to receive their 2025 W-2 wage and tax statements electronically now have secure online access to the forms via the institution’s employee self-service portal.
The university’s Human Resources office announced that W-2s are available for viewing, printing or downloading through the myUK Employee Self Service system, giving staff and faculty early digital access ahead of the paper mailing deadline.
Those who did not elect electronic delivery will receive their printed W-2 forms by mail no later than January 31, with the U.S. Postal Service expected to deliver them by mid-February.
The move to provide earlier online access for electronic consent holders is designed to support employees in preparing their federal and state tax returns promptly and securely.
University officials have encouraged employees who prefer digital delivery to review their mailing addresses and contact information in the payroll system to ensure accuracy.
Accessing the online W-2 requires authentication through the secure employee portal, which presents the digital document in the same format as the printed version.
The initiative reflects broader trends in payroll systems that prioritise convenience, security and timeliness for year-end tax documentation.
