The Panama government reduces fuel prices by 24 percent
The huge price cut comes after widespread protests which have lasted 8 consecutive days, to avoid the situation escalating, like it has Sri Lanka where the president and his government have had to run away from the country, as a result of protests becoming violent.
So maybe the reason that other governments have not reduced the petrol in their country is because there have been no protests and their population has just accepted the prices...
