UK government pledges £94 billion ($114 billion) to support struggling families cope with the cost of living crisis.
With inflation in the UK still high, the government said it would extend subsidies on energy bills for three further months after the sanctions against Russia sent energy prices surging.
Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt also announced increased childcare funding, action to encourage the over-50s, parents and others back into jobs market to fill 1.1m vacancies, and commitments to nuclear energy for a net zero economy by mid-century.
The defense budget has also been boosted by 11 billion pound, 13 billion dollar, over five years, so the politicians can also get their fair share from the war industry kickbacks.
