Consumer rankings highlight trusted names across food, health, household, tech and services based on a nationwide UK survey
A comprehensive consumer survey conducted across the United Kingdom has identified the brands that British shoppers trust most in 2026, reflecting preferences across a broad range of categories from food and household goods to technology and services.
The annual Newsweek/BrandSpark Most Trusted Awards, compiled from evaluations by over twenty thousand UK consumers across more than one hundred and sixty product and service categories, illustrate the brands that have earned consistent confidence through quality, reliability and value.
In this year’s rankings, iconic names such as Heinz emerged as a leading trusted brand in food categories, while Durex and Fairy secured exceptionally high trust shares in their respective categories.
Other standout performers include perennial favourites like Pampers in baby care, and household names such as Meaco in home appliances and Gillette in grooming products.
Retailers including Aldi and Currys also featured prominently as brands trusted for value and service, while tech and telecom services such as EE and Klarna were recognised by consumers for reliability and convenience.
The awards further highlighted the diversity of trusted brands chosen by UK shoppers.
In baby and children’s products, brands like Ella’s Kitchen and VTech were highly rated, while in health and beauty categories L’Oréal, Nivea and Regaine maintained strong trust standings.
Home goods and electronics categories saw Ninja and Dyson receive top marks for appliances and innovative design.
The survey results underscore the importance of consumer trust as a key differentiator in competitive markets, with leading brands earning loyalty through consistent performance and customer satisfaction.
UK brands that achieve high trust rankings may benefit from increased consumer confidence in purchasing decisions and stronger market positioning as the year progresses.
