Baxters recalls Cullen Skink soup over fault that could cause cans to rupture

Published
Fri 06 Nov 2026

Baxters is recalling its Chef Selections Cullen Skink soup because a manufacturing fault may cause the contents to spoil and the cans to swell and potentially rupture.

Customers who have bought the soup should not eat it or open the can. They should carefully place the unopened can, with its contents still inside, in a bag and dispose of it in an external bin.

Customers can contact the Baxters Customer Care team for a replacement or further information by calling 0800 389 8389 or emailing CCUK@baxters.com.

Recall notices will be displayed in all shops selling the product and on Baxters’ website, explaining the reason for the recall and what customers should do.
