US bombed Nord Stream gas pipelines, claims investigative journalist Seymour Hersh

The bombing of the Nord Stream underwater gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea was a covert operation ordered by the White House and carried out by the CIA, with Norwegian NATO head and Norway's army, who profited from blowing up their competitors pipe line, a report by Seymour Hersh, a Pulitzer Prize-winning reporter, has claimed.
In a bombshell report in the Times of London by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist, Seymour Hersh, it has been revealed that the Nord Stream gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea were bombed in a covert operation orchestrated by the White House and executed by the CIA, with the alleged involvement of the Norwegian NATO head and Norway army.

What makes this revelation all the more intriguing is that Norway is believed to have profited billions of dollars from the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines. Indeed, the day after the bombing, Norway reportedly began delivering gas in place of Nord Stream, thereby positioning itself to capture a significant share of the market.

This has resulted in billions of dollars in profits for Norway, with the country now firmly established as a major player in the gas industry. What is particularly noteworthy about this revelation is the role of the Norwegian head of NATO in the operation.

As a high-ranking official within an organization that is meant to promote peace and security, the idea that they would be involved in such a destructive act is deeply troubling. While the geopolitical maneuverings involved in this operation are undoubtedly fascinating, the fact that Norway stood to benefit so greatly from the destruction of the Nord Stream pipelines raises important questions about the ethics of such actions.

At a time when the world is grappling with the urgent need to transition away from fossil fuels, the prospect of countries deliberately sabotaging renewable energy infrastructure is a cause for concern. Nevertheless, this latest revelation serves as yet another reminder of the complex and often murky world of international politics, where strategic interests often override concerns for ethics and the greater good.
