13 from VI make up UWI Graduating Class of 2020

Thirteen (13) graduands from the [British] Virgin Islands (VI) are among the 8,500 members of the University of the West Indies (UWI) Class of 2020 who will officially graduate and receive their degrees during the 2020 Virtual Graduation Ceremonies starting this week.

This is according to the UWI Open Campus BVI, who stated on its Facebook page today, January 11, 2021, that the virtual graduation ceremony for the Open Campus will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021, at 5:00 pm (EC time) via live stream on www.uwitv.org and also on Facebook.


The University of the West Indies (UWI) Open Campus BVI is located at Paraquita Bay in the compound of H. Lavity Stoutt Community College.

The graduands from the VI are Eulet Farintha V. Euelyn- Master of Education Literacy Instruction with Distinction; Kenrick Davis and Adrianne Grant Davis- Bachelor of Science Youth Development Work with Second Class Honours (Upper Division); Samantha Brown- Bachelor of Science Psychology with Second Class Honours (Upper Division); Makeba Joseph- Bachelor of Science Psychology with First Class Honours; Jemelia Jacobs and Melisa Languedoc- Bachelor of Science Social Work with First Class Honours; Lisha Langlais- Bachelor of Education Leadership and Management (Major) with Second Class Honours (Upper Division); Anna Joseph Sylvester- Bachelor of Education Leadership and Management (Special) with Second Class Honours (Upper Division); Akilah Corbin, Vanessa Browne, Tamika Calme and J’koya Fahie- Bachelor of Laws LLB- Cave Hill Campus in Barbados and Jnae Hopkins- Bachelor of Laws LLB- Mona Campus in Jamaica.
