UK Retailers Kick Off Black Friday 2025 Early as Tech and Appliance Deals Embark
Major British chains including Currys, Very and AO have launched significant early Black Friday offers ahead of the official 28 November date
British shoppers are already accessing substantial Black Friday discounts as several leading retailers launch early deals across technology, appliances and fashion.
Retailers such as Currys and Very have begun offering marked-down electronics, kitchen gear and gaming consoles well ahead of the official Friday 28 November event.
Currys has opened its sale page and indicated promotions on air-fryers, laptops, TVs and smart home devices, while Very has announced an early Black Friday sale featuring more than 1,500 offers spanning smartwatches, furniture, toys and appliances.
Observers note that the trend of starting Black Friday sales earlier appears firmly established: analysts had predicted pre-event deals would begin in late October or early November, allowing retailers to spread demand and give consumers more time to shop.
Highlighted offers already live include a Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer at roughly £158 (down from around £229), and a Huawei Watch Fit 3 reduced to about £69. Gaming-console bundles have also appeared, with a Nintendo Switch 2 and Mario Kart World package available at approximately £409.
Consumers and deal-watchers are advised to compare prices, check stock and act early; while some identifying tools show that early deals in many cases represent the best available prices, popular items may still go out of stock or be replaced by deeper discounts as Black Friday approaches.
For many shoppers, this early-deal phase may offer the best opportunity to lock in value ahead of the holiday rush.
With Cyber Monday scheduled for Monday 1 December, the retail run for bargains is now extended into a full shopping week.
The early-release strategy appears set to reshape how British consumers approach major sales events, with many purchases now occurring well ahead of the traditional weekend of November adverts and queues.
