Twenty‑Five Nations Accuse Israel of ‘Inhumane Killing’ Over Gaza Aid Blockade
Joint statement criticizes ‘drip feeding’ of aid and civilian casualties
Twenty‑five countries, including the UK, Canada, Japan and several EU nations, have joined in condemning Israel’s restrictive handling of humanitarian aid in Gaza, describing the tactics as “drip feeding of aid” and accusing Israel of “inhumane killing of civilians.” They called for an immediate ceasefire and demanded that aid flow freely to avert further civilian suffering, citing recent reports that more than 800 Palestinians were killed while seeking food assistance.
The statement also called on Hamas to release roughly 50 Israeli hostages and warned that Israel’s tactics may breach international humanitarian law.
The denunciation comes as the Israeli military continues operations in Deir al‑Balah, amid escalating famine and over 59,000 reported deaths in Gaza since October 2023.
