Police Release E-Fit in Hackney Assault Investigation
Authorities seek public assistance after a 13-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and assaulted in Hackney.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police have released an electronic facial identification technique (e-fit) image of a suspect connected to the alleged abduction and assault of a 13-year-old girl in Hackney, London.
The incident reportedly took place on October 2, 2024, between 4:00 pm and 5:00 pm.
According to the police report, the victim was forced into a vehicle on Banister Road West in Homerton.
The suspect then allegedly transported the girl to Bannister House, a residential block on Homerton High Street, where the assault occurred.
The individual in question is described as a male in his mid to late 30s, who allegedly left the crime scene in a white Audi.
Detective Superintendent Ralph Coates, who is overseeing the investigation, emphasized the gravity of the allegations and acknowledged the understandable concern they may generate within the community.
He assured that the investigation is advancing swiftly, with efforts including the scrutiny of CCTV footage and in-depth interviews with the victim, who continues to receive support from law enforcement.
Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the suspect.
