The Energy Security and Net Zero Committee has published a major parliamentary report recommending that the United Kingdom government remove environmental and social policy costs from household electricity bills and reallocate them onto gas, alongside utilizing windfall profits to ease financial pressures on consumers and accelerate the clean energy transition.
