Dior, Chloé, Versace, and More Debut Dramatic Fringe on Spring/Summer 2022 Runways

Dior, Chloé, Versace, and More Debut Dramatic Fringe on Spring/Summer 2022 Runways

From London to Paris to Milan, this year's fashion week designers went fabulous with fringe.

This year’s collection of worldwide fashion weeks will go down in history. Highly anticipated by people all over the globe, the work of fashion's most talented designers left both virtual and in-person attendees speechless.

With over a year of isolation under their belts, expectations were high on designers to bring out never-before-seen looks. From Dior to Balmain, the effortless movement of dramatic fringe brought their runways to life. The perfect combination of freedom and joy-something we have all been lacking-these are just a few of the L’OFFICIEL certified fabulous fringe moments of the Spring/Summer 2022 runways.

Chloé

For her most recent collection, Gabriela Hearst focused on creating pieces that come together with an ethereal energy. With sustainability as the unifying element of her collection, Hearst allowed the natural movement and organic colors of her garments to shine.

Dior

Maria Grazia Chiuri kept it cool and classic for her most recent collection with Dior. Breathable silhouettes and energetic colors allowed the collection of day-to-night wear to come together in universal elegance. With pieces such as this one elevated by an embellished fringe, the designer hoped to infuse her classic collection with the excitement of returning to everyday life.

Burberry

Burberry's Spring/Summer 2022 collection is the perfect representation of the brand's timeless image. A combination of the English brand's traditional durability and new elements of modernity, Riccardo Tisci's most recent collection with Burberry runs free with the re-opening of society and the world of fashion.

Balmain

Olivier Rousteing of Balmain never backs down, and this year is no different. For his show featuring a musical performance by Doja Cat and a speech by longtime friend Beyoncé, the creative director wanted the garments in his Spring/Summer 2022 collection to reflect bravery, bold sensuality, and the excitement of stepping back into the world.

Fendi

As the first live show at Milan Fashion Week, creative director Silvia Venturini Fendi wanted to make her Spring/Summer 2022 collection was unforgettably fabulous. In an effortless manner that only Fendi can achieve, the collection of garments is beautifully breathable and perfect for a reemergence into the world.

Salvatore Ferragamo

A collection of effortless elegance and irresistible edge, Salvatore Ferragamo's Spring/Summer 2022 collection is perfect for those who want to look wonderful without trying too hard. In hopes of creating a collection suitable for transitioning from day to night while also maintaining the brand's Italian elegance, Massimiliano Giornetti merged eye-catching textures with clean lines.
