Brexit implications: Study shows rise in food bills for British households
[2/2] British households have experienced a rise in food bills due to Brexit, accounting for about a third of the increase since 2019, according to a study by the London School of Economics and other universities.
The study found that food products imported from the EU have experienced higher price increases than those from other countries, due to non-tariff barriers caused by Brexit.
The cost of Brexit to UK households is estimated to be 250 pounds per household.
