Elon Musk, consistently supporting him and defending his leadership against a range of critiques on the platform.
Before her appointment at X, Yaccarino held various positions within NBCUniversal, having joined the company in 2011.
Her most recent role was as the global advertising chief, where she was responsible for overseeing the company's advertising operations worldwide.
In her statement regarding her initial appointment, Yaccarino expressed enthusiasm about Musk's vision for X, describing it as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to undertake a significant mission for the company.
She expressed gratitude to Musk for his trust in her and for allowing her to take on the responsibility of safeguarding freedom of speech, steering the company back on track, and transforming X into a comprehensive application.
