The Tornado and Storm Research Organisation (Torro) confirmed the tornado after conducting a site investigation. The tornado followed heavy rain showers moving northeast from the English Channel. Local residents reported the tornado happening quickly, causing debris and damage.

One house lost its entire roof, and cars, fences, and furniture were affected. The tornado was assessed as a T4 on Torro's scale, indicating its severity. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and emergency services responded to ensure public safety. The severe weather also forced the cancellation of a local bonfire event.
