These guidelines, aligning with the latest international practices, aim to enhance the skills of health workers and improve cancer care and prevention, emphasizing early detection.
The guidelines were unveiled during a training workshop in Dubai, in collaboration with AstraZeneca. Developed by cancer specialists, they offer current recommendations for early diagnosis, examinations, and treatments, serving as a key reference for healthcare professionals to improve patient care and recovery rates.

The initiative is part of MoHAP’s commitment to reducing cancer mortality rates, aligning with the National Plan for Noncommunicable Diseases, which aims to lower overall cancer rates.
Regular updates and reviews of these guidelines ensure they stay in line with international standards and incorporate the latest medical research, making them a reliable reference for health professionals and contributing to enhanced healthcare and disease prevention.
