Mina Smallman, the mother of murdered sisters Nicole Smallman and Bibaa Henry, has stated she forgives their killer, Danyal Hussein, but not the police officers who took photos of their bodies.
Hussein stabbed Nicole Smallman, 27, and Bibaa Henry, 46, to death in June 2020.
PCs Jamie Lewis and Deniz Jaffer, who were assigned to guard the crime scene in Wembley, took pictures of the bodies and shared them in a WhatsApp group chat, referring to the victims as 'dead birds.' Both officers were sentenced to 33 months in jail.
Mina Smallman, a campaigner for women's safety, expressed her lack of forgiveness towards the officers for violating her daughters further and her determination to reform the Met Police.
She has called for more black officers and emphasized the need to address online misogynistic radicalization.
Despite her daughters' treatment, she still believes the majority of police are good but insists on necessary reforms.
