A massive recovery operation is under way across parts of Britain after back-to-back weather systems, Storm Austen and Storm Boelo, brought hurricane-force winds reaching eighty-two miles per hour, severe flooding, and widespread structural damage that left tens of thousands of properties without power and resulted in two fatalities.
