Former UK Health Secretary Matt Hancock testified in court about two confrontations he had with anti-vaccine protestor Geza Tarjanyi in January.
Hancock claimed that Tarjanyi pursued him, shouted at him, and accused him of murdering people through
vaccines.
Hancock said he felt intimidated and in fear during both incidents, including when Tarjanyi allegedly shoved him on a London Underground train.
Hancock recognised Tarjanyi from an incident five days earlier, when he says Tarjanyi "shoulder-barged" him on a walk to Parliament while "persistently" shouting questions and accusations.
Hancock said he is aware of a protest camp in Whitehall, believing it to be occupied by conspiracy theorists and anti-vaxxers, and he is anxious not to help them gain extra publicity.
A man named Tarjanyi is on trial for harassment after two interactions with an MP, Mr Hancock, on the London Underground.
Tarjanyi filmed himself in the interactions and denies any physical contact or harassment.
He claims that Mr Hancock barged into him and that the MP's behavior was not harassment.
The trial has been adjourned until July 4.
