Maj Gen James Roddis, 53, has been dismissed from the British Army and given a six-month suspended prison sentence for indecent behavior at a karaoke bar.
During a military delegation overseas, Roddis drunkenly touched and kissed a woman despite her clear discomfort, an incident partly captured on mobile phone.
Roddis, a married father of three, admitted to disgraceful conduct and was ordered by a court martial in Bulford, Wiltshire, to complete 30 days of rehabilitation, 150 hours of unpaid work, and pay £2,500 in compensation.
Roddis, who previously faced administrative sanctions for similar misconduct, acknowledged his inappropriate behavior and apologized to the victim.
