YouTuber Suffers Skull Fracture from RPG Launcher Explosion During Test

During a demonstration for his YouTube channel, Ballistic High-Speed, Adam Knowles, a US Army veteran, was severely injured when an RPG launcher malfunctioned, propelling his helmet off and knocking him unconscious.

The distressing episode was filmed, showing the moment the grenade launcher exploded as Knowles operated it. While recapping the incident, Knowles admitted that he is sharing the experience for educational and medical purposes.

Last month, while analyzing the risks associated with back-blast from various launchers, Knowles experienced the explosion that resulted in a broken jaw, skull fracture, and severe burns and shrapnel injuries, per Dexerto.

Now on the mend, Knowles reflected on the accident, stating he still faces months of recovery to achieve some normality.

Knowles explained that the explosion occurred during the last test of the day, despite following safety protocols. The unexpected blast left him on the ground within moments.

The injured YouTuber was quickly airlifted to a hospital after his team dialed 911, and he recalls nothing post-countdown.

Concluding the video, Knowles remained determined to continue producing content in the future.
