The Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning for London and parts of southern England from midnight on Saturday to 6 am on Sunday. Heavy rain and thundery showers are expected in these areas, including London, Portsmouth, Brighton, and Canterbury.
The warning highlights the potential for flooding, which could lead to disruptions in train and bus services, as well as a "slight chance" of power cuts. Rainfall amounts of 15 to 30 millimeters are anticipated, accompanied by wind gusts of up to 55 miles per hour. The warning comes after Storm Babet and could result in further wet weather and potential flooding in affected areas.
