Wisconsin Woman Convicted in UK Murder-for-Hire Plot

A UK court has convicted Aimee Betro, a woman from Wisconsin, for her role in a 2019 murder-for-hire scheme in Birmingham.

Prosecutors say Betro disguised herself in a niqab before attempting to shoot the target at point-blank range, but the gun misfired.

She now faces a lengthy prison sentence.
