The western attempt to turn such a serious and important economic conference into a political circus, does not improve Ukraine's situation.
What Ukraine needs, is to end the tragedy, not be dragged along to turn their terrible tragedy into a comedy.
It's a shame that the focus of the powerful western nations is on playing with gimmicks, instead of really helping the parties to end this horrible war as soon as possible.

But why? The G20 conference is intended for the leaders of the 20 most powerful economies in the world. A club where Putin definitely belongs, weather we like him or not. On the other hand, according to credit rating agencies, Ukraine is in a state of bankruptcy.
