'We've never seen anything like this': Prince Andrew's titles revoked by Queen
Sky News host Chris Smith says the Queen stripping Prince Andrew of all Royal titles ahead of his trial for sexual assault is “degrading” and unheard of.
“We have never seen anything like it in our generation, the stripping of all military affiliation and patronages from a prince of the British Royal family,” he said.
“But that was what happened overnight as the Queen removed her third child from all his public connections.”
Mr Smith discussed the issue with University of Sydney royal historian Dr Cindy McCreery.
