Watch the Met Gala 2021 Red Carpet Livestream Here

There’s a special livestream with two notable hosts.

This year, Vogue hosted the only official livestream of the Met Gala, fashion’s biggest night out, which you can re-watch here. Relive all the action as megawatt celebrities took to the steps of Metropolitan Museum in their finest attire. See photos of all the best dressed celebrities from the red carpet, or see all of the looks and choose your favorite Met Gala 2021 red carpet styles.

The Met gala livestream of the red carpet started at 5:30 p.m. EST, and ended when the red carpet closed around 9 p.m. EST. The livestream was hosted by two special guests: actor and recording artist Keke Palmer, and actor, writer, and director Ilana Glazer. Together, they provided unprecedented access to the Met Gala’s famous red carpet, interviewing high-profile guests as they arrived in grand style. (And we got a double dose of humor and irreverence along the way.) You can also re-watch on Twitter at twitter.com/voguemagazine.

The theme for this year’s Met gala was a celebration of American fashion, so we saw plenty of star-spangled style throughout the evening. “American Independence” was listed as the official dress code, and this meant anything from splashy, red-white-and-blue looks, to more discreet wears that are made here in the U.S. No matter the interpretation, celebrities made major statements with their outfits-the Met gala has a history of creating memorable fashion looks, after all.

This year’s notable cochairs, meanwhile, included the Gen Z superstars Timothée Chalamet, Billie Eilish, Naomi Osaka, and Amanda Gorman-we saw them make a cameo on the carpet and livestream, too. Tom Ford, Instagram’s Adam Mosseri, and Anna Wintour also served as the honorary chairs. Read up on everything you need to know about the 2021 Met Gala, and re-watch the livestream here if you missed it live!
