Despite starting from the sixth position on the grid, Verstappen made his way to the front of the field, ultimately finishing 2.225 seconds ahead of Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time champion.

This victory marked Verstappen's third consecutive win at the Circuit of the Americas, and it brought him level with the previous season's record tally of 15 wins. With his dominant lead in the drivers' championship, he is now 228 points ahead of Sergio Perez.

Lando Norris, competing in his 100th Grand Prix, finished third for McLaren, while pole-sitter Charles Leclerc of Ferrari led early but ultimately finished behind Verstappen and Hamilton.

This victory in Texas solidified Verstappen's position as the dominant force in Formula 1, as he extended his lead in the championship. Despite struggling with brake issues throughout the race, he held off a late charge from Hamilton to secure the win.
