Employees at an Office Depot branch in Michigan refused to print a poster commemorating social activist Charlie Kirk, who was murdered this week during an event at a university in Utah, according to reports.

Social media posts indicated that the poster was intended for a memorial ceremony.

The shift manager at the branch declined to print it, claiming it was 'political propaganda.' Following the incident, Office Depot issued a formal apology and distanced itself from the employees’ actions.

'The conduct of these employees is unacceptable, violates company policy, and does not reflect the values of Office Depot.

We contacted the customer to ensure they received service at one of our other locations, and we conducted an internal review which resulted in the termination of the employees involved in this incident,' the company said.
