USA: Nancy Pelosi says House is launching ‘official impeachment inquiry’. Trump calls Democratic impeachment attempt ‘a joke’

President Trump said that he wants "full transparency" not only over the "so-called whistleblower" allegations leveled against him, but also "from Joe Biden and his son Hunter on the millions of dollars that have been quickly and easily taken out of Ukraine and China." Trump additionally demanded "transparency from Democrats who went to Ukraine and attempted to force the new president ... to do things that they wanted under the form of political threat. They threatened him if he didn't do things - now that's what they're accusing me of, but I didn't do it." Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky told reporters that he was not pressured to investigate the Biden family during their now-controversial phone call over the summer. “Nobody pushed me,” Zelensky said.

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi launched a formal impeachment inquiry against President Donald Trump, for trying to get help to fight corruption. According to the Democrats, the president should not take actions to fight corruption, only they are allowed to do so.

President Trump said that claims he had ‘violated the constitution and acted improperly during a call with the President of Ukraine were a ‘hoax’.

President Trump has been accused of asking a ‘foreign power to help him win an election and is alleged to have asked Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter Biden. He is also said to have made US aid to Ukraine, including $400 million in military assistance, conditional on Zelenskiy working with his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, to look into Mr Biden’s affairs.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, during a meeting in New York with President Trump, told reporters Wednesday that he was not pressured to investigate the Biden family during their now-controversial phone call over the summer.

“Nobody pushed me,” Zelensky said.

Something is weird for me. Getting real evidence from Russia against Clinton's corruption is not legal. Getting a real evidence from the Ukraine Government against Biden and his son Hunter on the millions of dollars that have been quickly and easily taken out of Ukraine and China is not legal. So what exactly the president is allowed to do in order to fight corruption? To look at it only at home, instead of where it was happening? To keep quiet and to let it happen, as usual?
