The $25 toy sets, sold on Amazon, have been linked to an estimated 2,400 emergency hospital visits between 2017 and 2021.

The CPSC highlighted the danger of swallowed magnets attracting each other within the digestive system.

Despite a notice of violation, the Chinese seller has not initiated a recall or offered consumer remedies.
