Despite being a student at the Jewish Free School in Kenton, her distress went unnoticed, with classmates alleging a lack of intervention by the school.

During a Barnet Coroner's Court hearing, it emerged that boys at the school had been editing girls' faces onto pornographic images and sharing them on Snapchat, specifically targeting Mia and mocking her on social media.

Although friends of the victim questioned the school's awareness and response to the bullying, the school claims ignorance of the incidents.

Former deputy head teacher, Rabbi Howard Cohen, acknowledged posthumous rumors of "boys-only bravado groups" disseminating inappropriate images but did not connect them directly to Mia.

He took action by dissolving one such group chat after Mia's death. Moreover, Mia's diaries revealed her internal struggle with self-image, heightening the tragedy of her premature death.
