Cameron expressed solidarity with Israel, stating, "It's crucial to witness the severity of the attacks and stand with Israel's people." Amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza, he emphasized the urgency of a humanitarian truce to facilitate hostage release and aid delivery. Cameron urged those involved in the agreement to act promptly.
Despite the complexities, Netanyahu reiterated Israel's commitment to releasing hostages but remained resolute on neutralizing Hamas. "Peace is unattainable without eradicating this threat," he asserted.
Cameron, donning a flak jacket, had surveyed damaged properties in Kibbutz Be'eri, describing the experience as unforgettable and having discussions with Arab and Islamic leaders in London regarding the conflict.
Both the British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Cameron's forerunner James Cleverly have visited Israel since the hostilities commenced.
