UK Royal Navy Equips New Warship with Onboard Esports Suite

The UK Royal Navy has revealed its newest warship is equipped with an onboard esports suite, featuring eight high-powered gaming PCs in its operations room.

Officials say the unusual addition is intended to support crew welfare, improve team cohesion, and hone decision-making skills through competitive gaming.

The initiative is part of wider efforts to modernize the service and appeal to younger recruits in an increasingly technology-focused military environment.
