The Committee concluded that Johnson committed five contempts of Parliament, including lying to the committee and undermining the parliamentary process.

If Johnson had not resigned, the committee would have recommended a three-month suspension from the House of Commons.

The Committee found that Johnson's behavior was unprecedented for a former Prime Minister and that he could not have believed that the rules were being followed.

The Committee also found that Johnson attacked the committee, which is a further contempt of Parliament.

The committee recommended that Boris Johnson, who is no longer a member of parliament, should not be granted a pass as a former member.

Two members of the committee wanted Johnson to be expelled from parliament, but the final decision was made unanimously by all seven members.
