UK Private Sector Returns to Growth as July Activity Reaches Highest Level Since April

The UK composite private sector activity index rose to 52.2 in July from 49.3 in June, according to S&P Global and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply, with stronger services and manufacturing output offset by continued declines in employment across the services sector.
