UK Prepares Troop Deployment to Ukraine if Peace Deal Is Reached

London offers forces for air defense and port protection as part of potential NATO mission

The British government is preparing to deploy troops to Ukraine as part of a reassurance force if a peace agreement with Russia is secured.

Officials said the contribution would likely focus on bolstering air defense systems and securing vital port infrastructure.

The plan underscores the UK’s continued support for Kyiv, but also raises concerns about the risks of direct NATO involvement in Ukraine should hostilities reignite.
