UK Police Face Pressure to Lift Ban on Israeli Soccer Fans

Officials urge reversal of Birmingham match restriction on Maccabi Tel Aviv supporters.

British authorities are facing mounting pressure to reverse a local police decision barring Israeli Maccabi Tel Aviv fans from attending their team’s match in Birmingham.

The ban, imposed over security concerns, has sparked widespread criticism from community leaders and government officials.

Calls are growing for a review of the decision, with many arguing that it unfairly targets supporters and undermines the spirit of international sport.
