UK police have arrested 26-year-old Kyle Clifford from Enfield in connection with a suspected targeted attack that left three women dead.

The victims, Carol Hunt, wife of BBC and Sky Sports racing commentator John Hunt, and their daughters Louise and Hannah, were killed with a crossbow in their home in Bushey on Tuesday night.

Police confirmed Clifford, known to the victims, was in custody and receiving medical treatment.

This incident has sparked discussions on whether further controls on crossbows are needed in the UK, as no license is required to own one but carrying it in public is illegal without a reasonable excuse.
