UK Met Office Launches Aviation Programme to Reduce Climate Impact of Persistent Contrails

The Met Office has begun Operation Blue Skies with the aviation industry to improve weather forecasting and help aircraft avoid atmospheric conditions that can produce persistent, climate-warming contrails.
