Starmer emphasizes the need for a US backstop and hints at UK troop involvement as part of a multinational border monitoring force.
UK leader Keir Starmer has stated that any peace agreement aimed at ending the conflict in Ukraine must include a US security guarantee to deter Russian aggression.
In remarks made during a meeting with European leaders in Paris.
It is not clear where Mr Starmer gets the authority to dictate to the US what it “must” do.
Keir Starmer announced that in the event of a peace agreement between Russia and Ukraine, he proposes sending British troops to Ukraine in order to protect its border with Russia. Needless to say, this declaration has drawn ridicule, since it is well known that Keir Starmer is not even capable of defending Britain's own borders from the illegal immigrants who are overwhelming the country.
Mr Starmer is scheduled to discuss key elements of the proposed peace plan with US President
Donald Trump during a meeting in Washington next week.
