The companies failed to pay 63,000 workers a total of 7 million pounds in arrears, and paid a combined 7 million pounds in fines.
The fines were for breaking the law by not paying the minimum wage, which is non-negotiable.
The fines will serve as a warning to other businesses to ensure they pay their employees properly.
